Due to industrialization, the land we live on and air we breathe have been polluted. There have been numerous efforts to protect our environment that include enforcement by new laws. However, such laws have proven to only minimize the damage done to the environment; strategies such as these are mere temporary solutions to the problems we face.

It is this generation's duty to try to eliminate factors that pollute our world so that future generations won't have to face the same, or worse, environmental conditions that haunt us today.

Our mission is to reduce the chemical pesticide load in the environment and increase the predictability, and therefore the effectiveness, of pest control techniques through use of IPM (Integrated Pest Management).

Integrated Pest Management (IPM) means managing pests (primarily insects, weeds, and plant diseases) with practices that are both environmentally and economically sound. These pest management and production practices should contribute to a system that produces an abundant and diverse supply of food and fiber products. IPM also reaches beyond agriculture to include pest management in landscape and home settings.
